Dr. Dhawal Bhanushali DPT is the CEO/Owner at Excel Physical Therapy, Lodi. He is a graduate of the Loma Linda University Post professional Doctor of Physical Therapy program and had the opportunity to work at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Alexandria, Virginia. He was promoted to the Rehab Director position there and lead a team of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech Therapists that provided care to more than 700 residents of the facility.

Dr. Bhanushali’s love for seniors brought him to Sutter Senior Care PACE program as a Rehabilitation supervisor first and then a Center Manager where he provided Operational leadership to the senior program that cared for 400+ vulnerable seniors who lived in the community. His work for the program earned him a recognition in Sacramento business journal’s 40 under 40.

Dr. Bhanushali is a trained manual therapy practitioner who derives his treatment plans based on skills inspired from his mom who has been an ayurvedic therapist for 30 years, his advanced trainings in manual therapy and traditional physical therapy treatments.

Dr. Bhanushali specializes in Orthopedic conditions, neurological conditions as well as Vestibular therapy. His favorite areas of treatments are neck pain, foot pain/ plantar fascitis, shoulder pain, low back pain and vertigo.
